Ciudad Real pays tribute to Pedro Almodóvar creating the "Pedro Almodóvar Tourist Route." The route will pass through the heart of Campo de Calatrava, the birthplace of the director and the main stages of his film Back .
Calzada de Calatrava, the birthplace of film director, has welcomed the draft of this route that aims to transform the city into a tourist attraction especially through his latest film, in which there are "very well portrayed " locations in the area.
The route includes four municipalities: Campo de Calatrava - Calzada de Calatrava, Calatrava Granátula , Almagro and Puertollano.
Part of the film is staged in the Granátula cemetery, now famous after her appearance in the film and film part of this route.
For the promotion of it will include a guide route and the placement of a sculpture alluding to the films of Almodóvar in each of the four municipalities, which will take place through an international competition.
